# Bookmark Intelligence

> Bookmark Intelligence is an AI agent skill for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and other agents that read SKILL.md. Pulls your YouTube likes and X bookmarks into local files you can search and study. Best for: export Twitter bookmarks.

- Price: $19, one payment
- Works with: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot
- Category: Research and knowledge
- Built by: Atharva Shah (https://atharvashah.com)
- Requirements: Needs a paid Claude plan with Claude Code, Python, and a Composio account connected to YouTube and X. The X API needs paid credits for bookmarks. Without them, you import bookmarks from a browser export extension. X likes could not be pulled in testing, so plan on bookmarks only. On Windows, the pull runs inside WSL.

## Everything you ever saved, sorted and searchable at last.

It pulls your YouTube likes and X bookmarks into local markdown sorted by your topics. Then you ask what you saved and when your interests shifted.

## What it produces

- **What your saves say.** You get a written read of how your interests shifted, with the numbers behind it. ![A real insights note on 4,993 liked YouTube videos, showing how the topic mix changed from 2022 to 2026.](https://atharvashah.com/ai-skills/bookmark-intelligence/scene-1.webp)
- **Sorted by topic.** Every liked video lands in a topic note with its date, channel, and length. ![A dark note window listing liked AI videos by date, with the note title and count circled.](https://atharvashah.com/ai-skills/bookmark-intelligence/scene-2.webp)
- **The topic index.** One index shows how many saves each topic holds and its share of the total. ![A real X bookmarks index with a table of topic pillars, counts, and shares for 520 bookmarks.](https://atharvashah.com/ai-skills/bookmark-intelligence/scene-3.webp)

## Pull once, then ask anything.

Pulling and asking are two separate skills, so a question never costs an API call.

1. **Pull your saves.** It fetches only what is new since the last pull and drops anything already on disk by its ID. X bookmarks can also come in from an export file.
2. **It sorts by your topics.** You define the topics once with keywords and channels. Change them later and it re-sorts everything on disk with no new API calls.
3. **Ask your questions.** Trends by year, quarter, or month, a date window, top channels, keyword search, and YouTube against X. Every answer cites the numbers.

## Your saved lists were never built to be searched.

YouTube and X show saves as an endless feed. This skill turns them into files you own, sorted by your topics, with trends you can ask about.

### Bookmark Intelligence

- **Local markdown.** Plain files on your machine that any notes app opens.
- **Your topics.** Sorted by the keywords and channels you choose.
- **Trends with numbers.** Share and count by year, quarter, or month.
- **Two platforms side by side.** See what you watch against what you bookmark.

### The built-in saved lists

- **One long feed.** Newest first, and scrolling is the only search.
- **No topics.** A tutorial sits next to a meme you liked at midnight.
- **No history view.** You cannot see how your interests moved over a year.
- **Their servers.** A deleted post or a locked account takes your save with it.

### Read-later apps

- **Save by hand.** Only what you remember to send there gets in.
- **Another subscription.** Search and tags sit behind a monthly plan.
- **No past saves.** Years of likes before you signed up stay behind.
- **No analysis.** A list of links, with nothing about what they say about you.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I export my Twitter bookmarks?

Use the X API with paid credits, or a browser export file. This skill takes either one, then sorts every bookmark into topics you define.

### Can I organize my X bookmarks?

X has folders for premium accounts only. This skill gives every account searchable topic files and trend answers across years of saves.

### Which data can it pull?

Your YouTube liked videos and your X bookmarks. X bookmarks come through the X API when your plan has credits, or from an export file made with a browser extension.

### Can it pull my YouTube watch history?

No. YouTube removed watch history from its API in 2016. Likes are the closest signal, and every report says so.

### Can it pull my X likes?

Not reliably. X likes could not be pulled in testing, so plan on bookmarks only. Bookmarks work through the API or an export.

### Will I get duplicates if I pull twice?

No. The files are the database. It reads every ID already on disk and skips anything it has seen, including posts from an export.

### Which Claude plan do I need?

A paid plan with Claude Code. Pro is enough. Analysis runs locally with no network, so questions use very little.

### What else do I pay for?

Composio connects to YouTube and X. The X API bills for bookmark reads, and you can skip that cost by importing an export file instead.

### Does it run on Windows?

Yes. The pull runs inside WSL, because the Composio command line has no Windows build. The analysis runs as plain Python on Windows.

### How accurate is the topic sorting?

It matches keywords and channel names, so oddly titled videos can land in the wrong topic. Edit your list and re-sort, with no new API calls.

### What if the first pull fails?

It writes nothing on a failed pull, so your files stay safe. It reports the raw error and what it means, such as a quota limit or a connection to relink.

### Does this skill work with Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot?

Yes, with one caveat. The skill is a SKILL.md folder in the Agent Skills open standard, which Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot all load. It is built and tested on Claude Code. Steps that lean on Claude-only features, such as parallel subagents, run one after another or need a manual step in other agents.

### How do I install an agent skill?

Copy the skill folder into your agent's skills directory: ~/.claude/skills for Claude Code, or the skills folder your agent documents for Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or Copilot. The agent reads the description and loads the skill when your request matches it. Each skill ships with a setup guide for any tool it needs.
