## A content calendar where every slot is already a brief.

Give it your brand, your pillars, and how often you post. You get one interactive HTML calendar with a specific title on every date, a color per pillar, and the totals at the top.

## What it produces

- **The month at a glance.** Every slot carries a working title, a format, and a score before you commit to it. ![A real four-week LinkedIn content calendar, tilted, with a titled post in every weekday slot.](https://atharvashah.com/ai-skills/content-calendar/scene-1.webp)
- **Titles, not placeholders.** Each day names the actual post and its hook, so you never open an empty slot. ![Close crop of two calendar weeks with one post title circled in red.](https://atharvashah.com/ai-skills/content-calendar/scene-2.webp)
- **Formats in balance.** Color by format shows a thin week before you have to post in it. ![Calendar columns for Thursday and Friday showing image and text posts across three weeks.](https://atharvashah.com/ai-skills/content-calendar/scene-3.webp)

## Tell it the plan. Get the whole quarter.

Every calendar takes three steps and one file.

1. **Answer five questions.** Brand, theme, duration, how often, and your pillars. It asks for anything missing in one message, and skips what you already said.
2. **It writes every title.** Each slot gets a date, a pillar, a format, and a specific title. Give it your blog posts or notes and the titles come from them.
3. **Open the calendar.** One HTML file with a month grid, a color per pillar, a legend, and summary stats. It opens in any browser and needs no account.

## Most calendars are a list of vague topics.

"Tuesday, educational post" is a reminder. A calendar you can act on names the post.

### Content Calendar

- **A title per slot.** Every date has a specific post, ready to brief.
- **Balanced pillars.** Topics spread evenly unless you ask for a tilt.
- **Readable at a glance.** A color per pillar and dashed cards for carousels.
- **Any length.** A month, six weeks, or a quarter from one message.

### Spreadsheet templates

- **Empty cells.** The template gives you columns and you fill all of them.
- **Hard to scan.** Rows of text hide which pillar you neglected.
- **Generic labels.** "Engagement post" on every Wednesday.
- **Rebuilt each quarter.** You copy last quarter and fix the dates by hand.

### Scheduling app planners

- **Another subscription.** The planning view sits behind a paid tier.
- **Blank until you write.** The app holds posts but never suggests them.
- **One brand per seat.** Client calendars cost extra seats.
- **Locked in.** Your plan lives in their app, not in a file you own.

## Frequently asked questions

### How can I create an AI-based content calendar?

Give the skill your topics and channels. It returns one HTML calendar with a titled post, a format, and a score in every slot, colored by format.

### Is there a free content calendar?

Free templates give you empty slots. This skill fills them with specific post titles you can write that week.

### What do I get at the end?

One self-contained HTML file. It shows each month as a grid of post cards with a pillar badge, a date, and a title, plus a legend and summary stats.

### Can I import it into a scheduler?

No. The calendar is a plan you read and hand off. Each title is specific enough to brief, and the posts themselves get written separately.

### Which Claude plan do I need?

Any paid plan that runs skills. Pro is enough.

### What else do I pay for?

Nothing. The file opens in any browser with no account and no app.

### Which channels does it plan for?

Any of them. LinkedIn, Instagram, X, a newsletter, or a blog. Tell it the channel and the posting days.

### How many pillars can I have?

Up to eight, each with its own color. With no pillars given, it starts from four common ones.

### Can it use my existing blog posts?

Yes. Give it the posts or the links and it writes titles from them, and marks those slots as repurposed.

### Does it post on weekends?

Only if you do. The grid defaults to weekdays and changes to match your posting days.

### What if the titles are too generic?

Give it reference material, such as your notes, blog posts, or customer questions. Titles built from real material come out specific.

### Does this skill work with Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot?

Yes, with one caveat. The skill is a SKILL.md folder in the Agent Skills open standard, which Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot all load. It is built and tested on Claude Code. Steps that lean on Claude-only features, such as parallel subagents, run one after another or need a manual step in other agents.

### How do I install an agent skill?

Copy the skill folder into your agent's skills directory: ~/.claude/skills for Claude Code, or the skills folder your agent documents for Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or Copilot. The agent reads the description and loads the skill when your request matches it. Each skill ships with a setup guide for any tool it needs.
