What Signals Proposal produces

A sample proposal page showing six ranked action items, with a reason tip open on the second.
The action list. Ranked actions, each tagged Decide or Do, with an owner, a date, and the reason one tap away. (sample output)
A sample proposal page showing three ranked content ideas with channel chips and a table of three ranked keywords.
Ideas and keywords. Content ideas and keywords arrive ranked, and each idea carries one ID across every channel. (sample output)
A sample content idea opened to its details, above a bar chart where two topics are grey and circled.
Topics set aside. Topics with talk but no product fit stay on the chart in grey, so nobody chases them. (sample output)

From a domain to a plan in three steps.

You describe the offer once. After that, every run follows the same path.

  1. Point it at a site. Give it a domain, and a social-listening export if you have one. With no export, it runs a free crawl of public posts.
  2. It tags and ranks. Each thread gets a topic and a buying stage. Keywords are priced in one call, and it tells you the cost first.
  3. You approve, it never posts. You get one page and one workbook. Decide items go to your meeting. Do items go to named owners.

Dashboards report. Strategists charge.

A listening tool shows you threads. A strategist turns them into a plan, slowly and at a fee.

Signals Proposal

  • A plan in one sitting. Run it before your Monday meeting.
  • A reason on every line. Tap an action to see the thread behind it.
  • Ranked, owned, dated. Each action names who does it and by when.
  • One payment. Plus the Claude plan you already use.

Content strategists

  • Weeks to a first draft. The brief, the research, and the review all queue up.
  • A fee per plan. Every refresh is a new invoice.
  • Reasons stay in their head. You see the plan and rarely the evidence.
  • Out of date by launch. Buyer talk moves faster than a quarterly plan.

Listening dashboards

  • A pile of threads. You still decide what to do with them.
  • Charts, no actions. Nothing says who writes what, or when.
  • A monthly plan. Another subscription on top of your stack.
  • No content ideas. Keywords and posts are a second job.

It plans for your offer. Not a template.

You describe your offer, your main call to action, and the roles on your team once. It reads your site and your repo rules before it writes a line, and it follows them. A repo that bans a claim or a name wins over the skill. It proposes. People approve.

Questions about Signals Proposal

Can Claude do social listening?

This skill gives it the method. It crawls public Reddit and LinkedIn posts for free, tags each thread by topic and buying stage, and turns the result into a ranked plan with owners and dates.

How do I turn Reddit threads into content ideas?

Tag each thread by topic and buying stage, then rank topics by how many readers could buy. The skill does this and gives each idea one ID across the blog post, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit.

Do I need a social-listening export?

No. With no export, it runs a free crawl of public Reddit and LinkedIn posts through Exa search. Crawled posts carry no vote or comment counts, and the page says so.

What do I get at the end?

One HTML page and one Excel workbook. They hold ranked actions, content ideas, keywords, a cross-post plan, and a list of parked topics.

Does it post anything for me?

No. It proposes and people approve. It never posts, publishes, or schedules.

Does it make up numbers?

No. Every number comes from the signals, the keyword call, or a page it opened. A thread shows that people discuss a problem. It never proves a figure the poster quotes.

Which Claude plan do I need?

A paid plan with Claude Code. Pro is enough for a first run. A large export uses more of your plan.

What else do I pay for?

Nothing is required beyond the Claude plan. The keyword call, about $0.09, and the tagging key, about $0.02 per 400 threads, are optional. It tells you the price before any paid call.

What does it do about Reddit rules?

Reddit ideas come from named people who disclose their company. No content positions against a named competitor.

What if my niche has little chatter?

It drops ideas and keywords that do not earn a place, so a quiet niche gives a shorter plan. Topics with talk but no product fit are named as parked.

Can I run it for a client site?

Yes. Give it the client domain, and each run writes to its own folder, so projects never mix.

What if the first plan is off?

Correct the offer profile it writes at the start, then run again. Each run keeps its files in one folder, so a rerun is quick.

Does this skill work with Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot?

Yes, with one caveat. The skill is a SKILL.md folder in the Agent Skills open standard, which Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot all load. It is built and tested on Claude Code. Steps that lean on Claude-only features, such as parallel subagents, run one after another or need a manual step in other agents.

How do I install an agent skill?

Copy the skill folder into your agent's skills directory: ~/.claude/skills for Claude Code, or the skills folder your agent documents for Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or Copilot. The agent reads the description and loads the skill when your request matches it. Each skill ships with a setup guide for any tool it needs.
